You won’t believe just how beautiful Norfolk Island holidays can be with so many choices of places to see. Come and have a Norfolk Island holiday and see for yourselves!

Emily Bay

The most popular and safest of all of the swimming beaches, Emily Bay is great for all ages and is rimmed with coral and fish for some truly unforgettable snorkelling. Convict ruins surround the beach as do towering Norfolk Island pines. From the beach you can see Philip and Nepean Islands off into the distance. The beach is protected from predators by a reef that runs its entire length so it is perfect for families.

Slaughter Bay

Adjoining Emily Bay is Slaughter Bay which is a great place to snorkel and swim out to the reef. If you are going to do this then reef shoes are a good idea.

Anson Bay

Roughly a twenty minute walk down and back up again, Anson Bay is spectacularly photographable. You will surely be the only person to explore this beach as many tourists don’t make the walk. The view from the clifftop is just perfect too. Some great bbq areas can be found here too.

Cemetery Bay

Bordering the island cemetery, this bay is a wonderful and serene place to walk on the beach and experience the rock pools. There are beautiful views from this beach.

Bumboras

This beach known only as Bumby by the locals is full of life and colour with some gorgeous views of the outer islands. This is a great beach to explore rock pools and photograph the gorgeous landscapes and views.

Ball Bay

Whilst not a traditional swimming beach, Ball Bay is the remnants of the crater of the volcano that formed the island millions of years ago. You can drive right down into it and wander along the rim. The smooth basalt stones give the rim a surreal touch.
